BOOKING CONDITIONS and Fair Trading Agreement

Wold Travel & Debonair Tours

Our Fair Trading Agreement sets out clearly and simply the responsibilities which we have to you and which you in turn have to us when a contract is made between us. The contract is made when you make a booking and when we accept it by written confirmation on the terms set out below.

When signing the Booking Form for your holiday or private hire, you will sign on behalf of yourself and all the others in your party. Your obligations to pay the price of the holiday or private hire and recognise your liabilities if you wish to alter or have to make a cancellation. On our part we have obligations to provide you with the services you have booked.

Please download and read our full Terms and Conditions. By completing and sending your signed Booking Form to us, you are deemed to have read and understood these terms and conditions. If you are unsure about anything, please contact us.

Group Travel leaders and Organisers are always WELCOME but for two reasons we are having to change our terms and conditions for 2014 to eliminate reoccurance of these reasons.

REASON (i)  We gladly give our quotations free of charge and are always willing to organise and issue an itinerary to meet clients requirements, once finalised we will print 30 copies of the itinerary free of charge to enable them to resell the tour to their clients.

In the past however it has been noted that some clients (few in number) have engaged with us and we have done this work in goodwill only for a few leaders to circulate OUR made itinerary for them, to other suppliers to try and gain a cheaper quote If successful (even by coppers) they engage the other supplier who may not have quoted for all the same services. We have therefore lost the contract and wasted our time.       We hope that APPENDIX CONIDITION 1 in our conditions below will eliminate this happening  (in exceptional circumstances we are willing to discuss this Condition)

REASON (ii) Some hotels and venues are demanding deposits on booking of £100 + which are sometimes not refundable, This we have to cover ourselves against a loss of deposit. We hope APPENDIX CONDITION 2 in our conditions below will illiminiate this loss.

General public passengers and group members will be subject to  our Booking Conditions listed below with our Fair Trading Agreement (please note our trading address is:- The Coachhouse, 85 Moorfield Way, WILBERFOSS and not North Dalton this will be changed shortly on a web reprint of our terms and conditions)

APPENDIX CONDITION 1   A tour will be planned for group leaders on the payment of the sum of £100 deposit which is deductable from the final invoice for the tour payable 6 weeks prior to tour commencement .

We will still arrange your tour without charge, prepare your itinerary, ammend as many times as you require, and print 30 copies of the final itinerary for distribution to your members

APPENDIX CONDITION 2 An additional deposit of £50 is payable once we have booked your venues, hotels, meals, ferries some attractions and hotels are now seeking £100 deposit to confirm and it is important to ensure ALL your services are confirmed before the commencement of the tour. Our Final invoice to group will show credit for your deposits and is due 6 weeks prior to commencement as normal.
